Thursday 8th November 2018, R&Dnano participated in the kick-off meeting of the project TRANSFUGE – TRA3: Surface finishing in Paris.
TRANSFUGE is an IRT (Technological Research Institute) project whose objective is to develop innovative materials and processes solutions in the field of power transmission and bearings. It is divided into 4 work packages: Materials and Formatting (TRA 1), Surface Reinforcement (TRA 2), Surface finishing (TRA 3) and Characterization – Control – Life-cycle analysis – Normalization (TRA 4).
This meeting was an opportunity for the project leader to specify the mode of operation of the project, for the big industrial partners to discuss their needs and for the technology developers to present different technological solutions.
R&Dnano participates in the work package TRA 3 as a developer and we have presented our proposals for innovative coatings based on sol-gel technology.
